Matt's Blue Steel

Matt's Blue Steel was built in the spring and summer of 2014. This had to be a bike that would be as comfortable riding from Somerville to the North End as it would be banging on and off dirt paths. True Temper OX Platinum grade steel, Ultegra 11sp build, with TRP HY/RD hybrid hydraulic disc brakes.

The head badge is etched by hand in the shop.
Chris King mango headset, Wound Up CX carbon fork, Brooks copper rivet saddle.
TRP hy/rd disk brakes, low-mount; HED Belgium+ rims with CK mango hubs, Panaracer gravel king tires are smooth on road and off.
Ultegra 11sp shifters, whisper smooth on Fizik Cyrano R1 bars
Stays were designed to support tires up to 37mm wide without looking bulky. All tubes are True-Temper OX Platinum grade steel, made in the US of A.
